There's an ever widening circle of friends who enjoy the music, art and gatherings, here on the cliff above  the Pedernales River.  I hope you'll add to the circle by inviting someone new to share this experience.

I'll be introducing my summer's work, two Urn Series: Sweet Souls and Return to Earth.  I've made custom funeral urns for several years.  These urns are elegant, nature inspired tributes to those we love and have lost.

Sarah Fox has a powerful, beautiful voice and her songwriting will bring tears to your eyes.  So lovely.

Joel Guzman is an animated miracle of sound on the squeezebox and he played a little on the baby grand last year as well.

And if you don't know Andrew Hardin's name, you will recognize him and his stellar guitar work, blending and highlighting with this great trio.

I'm showing the Edwards Plateau Flora, Fauna and Fossils Series which was on view this summer at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center.  And I've done the first kiln load of holiday gifts and will have another round coming in mid December.  There are over 100 pieces in the gallery this season.  Come enjoy the Fall Harvest of pieces.  Bring a couple of  friends and introduce them to my work and porch here on the cliff.  Hope to see you on the Trail.

The Umlauf is on Robert E. Lee, just south of Barton Springs Rd, east of Zilker Park.  Come See!

The show is in the McDermott Building, at the back of the gardens, and that Sunday will be packed with people (since it's free that day)  so you might want to catch the show before then to absorb the delicacy and intricacy of these pieces.  The flora, fauna and fossils in these pieces are all from the Edwards Plateau and honor the cycles of life and death here on the Pedernales cliffline and river bed.

Next weekend is the Art and Wine Trail so I have a kiln to unload and pieces to label and price.  And on Saturday from 2 - 5 I'll have the Austin Community Steel Band here to play during the Art Trail.  It's Free and I encourage you to bring your children to listen to the music.

So many IMPRESSIONS in the rocks, the embedded shells, and ohhhhhhhh those resurection ferns.  There were cactus blooms just opening for spring and the Ocatilla was changing from berries to scarlet flowers floating to the ground in 45 mile per hour winds.  Nature -  truly amazing.  I took lots of photos, left lots of footprints.
